Eating independently when grip is reduced, wrists are stiff, or tremors make controlling cutlery difficult takes the right tools. These adaptive utensils are designed specifically for people who struggle with standard cutlery - with three features that work together to make mealtimes easier and more comfortable.
How they work:
- Bendable neck: up to 90° left or right
The stainless steel neck between the handle and utensil head bends and holds its angle. Position the spoon or fork to reach the mouth naturally without needing to rotate or bend the wrist, helpful for arthritis, stiff joints, or limited
elbow movement. Note: the knife neck does not bend.
- 360° rotating handle joint
The handle rotates a full 360° at the joint, so the utensil head can be set to exactly the right angle for each person's natural hand position.
No awkward wrist twisting needed.
- Adjustable silicone hand strap
The strap wraps around the hand and adjusts to fit any hand size. It holds the utensil securely in place, no gripping strength required. Suitable for both left and right hand.
- Detachable for easy cleaning
The utensil head twists off the handle for separate washing. The hollow handle can also hold small weights such as steel balls or magnets (not included) to add resistance, useful for people with tremors who benefit
from a heavier utensil.
Choose your utensil:
- Spoon: for soups, porridge, cereals, and soft foods
- Fork: for solid foods, vegetables, and meat
- Spork: combined spoon and fork head, versatile for most foods without needing to switch utensils
- Knife: for cutting and spreading. Note: knife neck does not bend
- Full Set: Spoon + Fork + Spork + Knife, complete set at a saving
Who it's designed for:
- Seniors with reduced grip strength or tremors
- People with Parkinson's disease
- Stroke survivors eating with limited wrist control or one hand
- Anyone with arthritis or stiff wrist and elbow joints
- People recovering from hand or arm surgery

FAQs
FAQs
Q: Do I need grip strength to use these?
A: Minimal grip is needed. The adjustable silicone strap secures the utensil to your hand, so you don't need to hold it tightly. This makes it suitable for people with very limited hand strength, paralysis, or severe tremors.
Q: Can the knife neck be bent like the spoon and fork?
A: No, the knife neck does not bend. The spoon, fork, and spork all bend up to 90° left or right. The knife has a fixed neck but still has the full rotating handle and adjustable hand strap.
Q: Can the neck be bent back after bending?
A: Yes, bend it to the most comfortable angle and adjust again whenever needed. It holds its position securely during use.
Q: Is it suitable for left-handed users?
A: Yes, the strap and handle work for both left and right hand.
Q: Which utensil should I choose?
A: If you mainly eat soft foods or soups, start with the spoon. For a full everyday set, the Spoon + Fork covers most meals. The Spork is a great single versatile option.
Q: Can the handle be weighted?
A: Yes, the handle is hollow and can be loaded with small steel balls or magnets (not included) to add weight. A heavier utensil helps some people with tremors maintain steadier control.
Q: Is it dishwasher safe?
A: Yes, fully dishwasher safe. Detach the utensil head from the handle before washing for the best result.
Q: Is this available as part of a dining bundle?
A: Yes, see our Adaptive Dining Bundle which includes utensils, bowl, and cup at a discounted combined price.
