Details

A feeding cup designed for people who need assistance with eating and drinking, whether from swallowing difficulties, bedridden recovery, or significant mobility challenges.

Three interchangeable silicone spouts come included, each suited to a different food or drink consistency. Switch between them depending on what is being served
and the person's current needs.

The three spouts:
-Spoon spout: best for smooth puréed foods, thick soups, porridge, and other semi-solid foods. The spoon-shaped opening controls the flow rate, reducing choking risk for people with swallowing difficulties.

-Straw spout: For thinner liquids: water, juice, and diluted drinks. Squeeze the soft body gently to control how much liquid flows through, giving the carer full control over intake pace.

-Nipple spout: For very controlled intake of fluids or liquid medications. The small opening delivers a slow, steady flow, suitable for people with the most significant swallowing difficulties.

Squeeze-to-control flow
The soft squeezable body means the carer controls exactly how much comes out with each squeeze - no tilting, no gravity-driven overflow. This significantly reduces the risk of choking or aspiration during assisted feeding.

Who it's designed for:
- People with dysphagia (swallowing difficulties)
- Elderly individuals who need carer-assisted feeding
- People who are bedridden or have very limited head and neck movement
- Post-surgery recovery, particularly after mouth, throat, or stomach procedures
- Anyone on a purée or liquid diet

This is a carer-assisted feeding tool. For people who can drink more independently, see our Adaptive Sippy Cup (350ml).

FAQs

Q: What is the difference between this and the Adaptive Sippy Cup?
A: The Adaptive Sippy Cup (350ml) is designed for people who can drink more independently, it has a gravity-weighted straw and handles for self-use. This 3-in-1 cup is designed for carer-assisted feeding, with a squeeze body for flow control and spouts for purées and thickened liquids. If the person needs help eating and drinking, this cup is the better choice.

Q: Can it be used for medications?
A: Yes,the nipple spout delivers a slow, controlled flow suitable for administering liquid medications. Always check with a healthcare professional for specific medication administration guidance.

Q: Is it suitable for someone with dysphagia?
A: Yes, the squeeze-to-control flow design and choice of spouts make this cup well suited for people with swallowing difficulties. The carer controls the flow rate completely, reducing the risk of too much liquid being delivered at once. We recommend consulting a speech-language therapist for specific swallowing protocols.

Q: Can warm liquids be used?
A: Yes, the materials are heat resistant and safe for warm soups, porridge, and warm liquids. Do not use boiling liquids.

Q: How do I switch between spouts?
A: Each spout simply unscrews from the bottle top and the next one screws on in its place. No tools required.

Q: How do I clean it after puréed food?
A: Disassemble the spout from the bottle before washing. Rinse immediately after use to prevent puréed food from drying inside the spout opening. Hand wash
with warm soapy water or place on the top rack of the dishwasher.
