Footwear FAQs

Will these shoes fit swollen feet or ankles?

Yes. Our footwear is specifically designed to accommodate swollen feet, swollen ankles, bandages, and uneven foot sizes. Most styles have a width of around 11cm, an internal height of approximately 10cm, and adjustable Velcro straps that can extend up to 33cm in circumference.

Several styles also feature two adjustable fastening points: one across the top of the foot and another around the heel. This allows the fit to be adjusted in multiple areas, helping accommodate swelling, high insteps, or feet that change size throughout the day.

Many customers looking for shoes for swollen feet or diabetic footwear tell us they struggled to find comfortable options elsewhere. The soft materials, generous fit, wide openings, and adjustable design help reduce pressure while making shoes easier to put on and take off.

Are these suitable for people with diabetes or sensitive feet?

Absolutely. These shoes are made with seam-free interiors, roomy toe boxes, and soft materials to help reduce rubbing and pressure.

Depending on the style, you’ll find lightweight mesh for breathability, canvas, or wool-blend uppers for gentle warmth. Many also include memory foam insoles to help ease pressure from walking or standing.

For additional comfort, we also offer Diabetic Bamboo Socks featuring a seamless toe, non-binding top, and high bamboo content to help keep feet dry, comfortable, and irritation-free throughout the day.

Are they easy to put on and take off?

Yes. The wide opening and easy-to-use Velcro straps make them simple to put on and take off, no bending or struggling.
Customers often mention how helpful this is for daily use, especially when mobility is limited or grip strength is reduced.

Can they be worn outside, or are they just for indoors?

You can definitely wear them outdoors. They’re light and flexible like a slipper but have durable, slip-resistant soles that are great for short walks, to the garden, the shops, or a friend’s place...
They strike a nice balance, not too heavy, not too slippery, and comfortable all day.

What size should I choose?

If the feet are different sizes (which is very common), we recommend choosing the size that fits the larger or more swollen foot. The adjustable straps make it easy to fine-tune the fit on each side for better comfort and support.

For step-by-step instructions and tips on how to measure your feet, please see our How to Measure page. It includes how to measure in centimetres, when to size up, and what to do if you’re between sizes.

What if they don’t fit, can I return or exchange them?

Yes, we’re happy to help. As long as the shoes are in original condition, we can assist with a return or exchange.
If you’re unsure about sizing or styles, just reach out, we’re always here to help.
